Fall is here y’all. The mornings and nights are getting cooler and right now I’m loving this new fabric from lululemon athletica. Their new line of wraps, jackets and hoodies are made from spacer construction. Spacer construction is technically tailored, giving you superior breathability and sweat resistant goodness. The fabric is super soft and light.
Recently I was fortunate enough to do a photo shoot with ThreadBuds, a super-cute tangle free headphone company located in Kansas City. The earbuds are wrapped in colorful threads to give the headphones a fashionable look that actually prevents them from getting tangled. During the shoot, I fell in love with the brand and its founders Maddie & Nick Paradise.
I can’t believe my last race of the season is over. Fall race season was quick this year. It’s funny, I said Lexus Laceup would be my last so that I could focus on the wedding but last night, I sat in bed Googling races and contemplating if I had one more left in me (typical).
Oh em to the g. My friends and family totally outdid themselves. Over the weekend my bests hosted one stellar bridal shower. I can’t believe the wedding is just 75 days away. We’ve been engaged a little over a year now so I am ready to get this party started. I want to share some pics of the shower — a lot of stuff is handmade (DIY). I can’t thank everyone enough. The entire day was so special.
I almost don’t know where to start with this event. From start to finish it was just what I needed and super refreshing. Let’s start with the basics, Indulge is a wellness event based in Kansas City held at Freighthouse Fitness. The event was founded by MOJO cycling instructor Sarah Buchanan. All proceeds from the event were donated to REbel, a student driven, peer education and prevention program that addresses body image issues.
One of the most common excuses for lack of exercise is being too busy and although that might sound like a valid reason, staying fit with a busy schedule is not as difficult as it seems. Really, it isn’t rocket science. I totally get it, there aren’t enough hours in the day but with a little creativity and prioritization, it will feel less challenging. Even if that means you need to do your workout in the comfort of your own home (or a hotel room).
