Our trip to Cabo is over too soon. Both of us had never been so when some friends invited us to come join, we were eager to say yes. The opportunity came last minute and for the first time this year, we were able to take full advantage of our Companion Pass from Southwest. Best thing ever.
Chance and I like to explore so we split time in half. Two days with friends and two days to ourselves. That meant a few days in San Jose and a few in Cabo San Lucas. We stayed at the new JW Marriott, which is super peaceful and relaxing. The hotel has several infinite pools and a spa pool you’ll swoon over. The gym is also top notch. Depending on the season, you might be the only person on the beach out front as well. It doesn’t take much to get lost in the hotel, there are so many different hidden nooks to discover. All of them picture perfect.
Our friends stayed in Pedregal up on the hill in a mini mansion so we soaked up some sun (and the incredible view) on several occasions. We lounged at Mango Deck and The Office, took a water taxi to Lover’s Beach and danced the night away at El Squid Roe. Off the beaten path, Chance and I enjoyed time at Chileno Beach, Playa Santa Maria and Zippers. We also had the best dining experience at Flora Farms. The creative cocktails, puppies, live music, string lights and farm to table food totally won me over.
Cabo was just what the doctor ordered.
