Gluten Free Protein Bites

Last week I wrote this short blog post discussing how to up your protein intake and why it is important. Almost immediately after, I  saw a friend post a picture of some protein bites that she had made and I got to thinking how much I miss the bites from t.Loft back home. So, I set off to make my own. I got almost everything from Trader Joe’s. This recipe is super easy and only takes a few minutes.



  • 1 cup Nut Butter or Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup Agave Nectar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1.5 cups Gluten Free Rolled Oats
  • Slender Blend Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1-2 teaspoons Chia Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Flax Seed
  • 1/4 cup (or less) shredded Coconut Fakes
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2-4 teaspoons water



These bites are no bake, so once you’re done mixing all the ingredients in a bowl, just scoop some out to make little balls. Place them in an airtight storage container and place in the refrigerator. Enjoy pre/post workout or during a hike.
