Summer Adventure Guide – Page, AZ

Last year Chance and I were lucky enough to travel for over 9 months completely untethered. We had countless road trips and adventures in our Land Cruiser. We most frequently drove from LA to Kansas City and explored for several weeks in between. Over that time, we quickly figured out our favorite areas and while we enjoyed going to new places, we also found ourselves drawn to the places we had grown to love. One of those areas being Page, Arizona and Lake Powell.

Now that the sun is shining and spring is here, so many of you have reached out to me ready to plan adventures. I could go on and on with suggestions but I feel like the best place to start (especially for beginners) would be Page. You get such a BIG bang for your buck. There is so much to see and do in the area. You could visit several times and your itinerary could be different every time. Your trip could range from two days to two weeks and you’d never get bored. The lake alone has so many hidden treasures.

The closest airports to Page would be Flagstaff, Pheonix or Las Vegas. Most likely, you’ll want to rent a car and drive up to your final destination. Having the car handy will make it easier to site see at your own leisure. We typically camp when we’re in the area but we’ve also stayed at the Courtyard Marriott with the dogs a few times as well and it was nice.
