There is something about a fresh-off-the-rack new race day tank that gets me super pumped to run thirteen point one. So I headed over to lululemon Leawood to get race ready and do a little collaboration featuring their fall goodies.
That includes their new (oh so comfy) knitted textures. The new Jacquard line is inspired by a vintage piece of distressed leather. They wanted to bring texture and depth to the 2016 fall collection. The Jacquard technique is not new but the process is a weaving technique that uses different color (nylon) threads to create a specific pattern. Each individual thread is dyed and then knitted to form awesome textured effects. This gives each garment a unique (and super soft) texture.
Here is a sneak preview of all my favorites. For the Go Girl Run this weekend, I ended up with the red number below. Red is a color that represents energy, strength, power and determination. All things I will need come Sunday!
